The Sign of the Cross... In the darkest parts of Russia.

Boris is following the trail to locate the last of the NVG's secret bases. As they look, they run across an old legend, one which speaks to the Archangel Michael defeating a beast...

Could that have actually have been Michael, the Patriarch of Vampires?

And if it was, what beast had he condemned to the caves near Archangelsk, Russia?

This time, Boris is going after more than just the NVG - he is searching for the answer to his own past.

Revelations (The Boris Chronicles Book 3) - edition by Paul C. Middleton, Michael Anderle. Mystery, Thriller & Suspense eBooks @ . Reviews

Wow! I love the story of the 2 new characters! Of course I love the building of all the characters. I can't believe it took me so long to get around to reading this series but so many KGU books and so little time.
I like most these stories, obviously some more than others. As I see it, they are all trying to emulate Michael Anderle. Not successful, but that doesn't mean they are bad. Michael just stands head and shoulders above them.

Still, I enjoyed all 3 stories and look forward to more. Just be more yourself and write good stories. Just me!
Not a bad story, I was expecting a couple twists that didn't happen which was a bit of a surprise. The characters have been around awhile, so not many surprises. The new characters seemed childlike at times. I found the editing to be distracting, seemed to be numerous errors that weren't caught, which caused me to stop and re-read lines to get the meaning.
I love stories like this with action, puzzles and lots of new information gained. )

Gyada is an intriguing character and I’m looking forward to reading more about her in the future.

And, Boris’ life just got a bit more interesting for him too! )
This is another good addition to the series but I found it to be a bit dis-jointed.
The focus this book was NOT on Boris (the title character) but rather on the ancient and unique warrior shifter introduced in the 2nd book as well as the entity that helped to keep her alive for so many centuries.
I just found it to be a bit hard to read compared to the previous books in the series.
Still a good read and I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Really enjoyed the story but see a few holes. Why did Boris not tell her of their family connection? What happened when the pod was taken? We saw from the tigers point of view through the book why not show the arrival after teleportation? If they can shield and know how to build faraday cages why not build a dual shield generator that protects the inside forces while a modified faraway cage keeps the outside surrounding area in a communications dead zone so any attacking or approaching groups ha no way to contact anything for support
While I am not big on military stories, this is military/politics in the TKG universe. What that means is that it brings something more to the overall table for those of us completely emerged in that universe.

Now, just looking at the series, I think this, for me, was the best book so far because it wasn't as heavily militarized as the other 2 were. The introduction of Lilith was very interesting, as was Gyada. Both of them being out different aspects of Jenna, Boris...And in particular, Paul (where are you going with this intellectual hiding behind the jokester character, Mr. Middleton?). I was a little startled about some of the indecisiveness Boris displayed, but then it wasn't strictly military decisions any more. And Mr Anderle, I am waiting to find out why BA was so distracted she couldn't focus on new alien technology -- which up to now had been something she almost always gave focus to.

Overall, great story. And looking forward to see how Boris and Jenna survive when TWDE (darn that doesn't look right but is close) happens since....of course....foreshadowing, at the end.
I have never reviewed any authors work I either enjoy reading them or I don't. Simple huh, however that this Universe that has Vamires, Werewolves etc.. going well after hind end is simply riveting. what seems really funny to me is I generally am not a fan of Vampires. I remember the Vamire movie series that everyone of this generation went nuts over. My only thought was that it said something about this generation that the leading love scenes were a Vampire. However I happened across Michael's Queen Birch series and to put it bluntly I liked the writing. I am an old Jarhead(Marine) VietNam Vet. and all that and I love Fantasy sword and Sorcery mostly very little Sci Fi. However I really enjoy Military style fiction. WEB Griffin, Clancy etc. The first time I found a decent author for my personal enjoyed reading was John Ringo. And now I stumble upon this strange series in which I have just finished the last of the Authors J.Middleton and I just have to tell you you rock. I got into due to my nephew and everyone I knew calling me an old fart. I have to admit to that I am 66 and change comes a little hard. However I have had more fun reading this series than I can state to the point of sleepless nights Puerto being willing to put the kindle away. Boris reminds me of some of my favorite memories of my old Gunner Sgt. In Nam. The situations he finds himself in and his damn the torpedoes full speed ahead way of dealing is great his love with J. Is just exactly what is need e d to temper his f it charge mentality. The action scenes particularly the battles get me setting on edge. Damned good writing. There are some mistakes but not enough to take away from the enjoyment. Looking forward to your next effort. And I have to admit I hate waiting but it is worth it.
