With everybody allergic to loud fragrances these days, you don't have to worry with this soap. And yet it manages to scent your bath area luxuriously when ablutions are finished.
The characters are lovable, the detective hateable. Lots of twists and turns. I'm never disappointed in Michael's books. Always awaiting the next one
I am a dedicated James Patterson fan but I have also read quite a good number of Michael Palmer books. This one, "Silent Treatment" is a great read! It got so exciting in a couple of places, I had to put it down for a day or so until I got my self ready to "face the music" again. This is a really good thing in case your are wondering. (I'm generally reading more than one book a time.) My only negative... I would have chosen a different copy of this book if I had known how scuffed up, worn and yellow this copy was ahead of time. But still, the book was readable, with no torn or missing pages.
Michael Palmer's books never let you down. This one was no exception. An in-depth plot, characters you loved and some you hated. A page-turner even for a seasoned reader. You can't go wrong with this one.
I liked the intrege of the storyline but it was to wordy and had to much fluff. I like a meat and potatoe story. I have to say it held my attention to want to read the book in its interior. I like Michael Palmer books thus one just wasn't my favorite. Please keep them coming
If you like medical thrillers. suspense, action and adventure, this is the book for you! This is the first book I've read by this author and I loved every minute of reading it I stayed up until 100 in the morning reading and stopped only because I had to go to work the next day. Interesting characters and challenging situations make this a great read.
A really well-developed story that catches your interest and makes the book hard to put down. The writer's medical background enhances the story and characters, making all that much more believable. The suspense builds slowly for a while and then the action starts, leading to a super crescendo.
